Organization: Dunbar Community Center, Inc. 's mission is to promote growth and development of traditionally under-served youth and families of Mason Square and African American youth in particular through delivery of educational, recreational, athletic and cultural-enrichment activities for youth and their families.

- Special Needs Advocacy Program (SNAP): Dunbar is the first African-American community-based agency in Western Massachusetts to service consumers with mental- and developmental- disabilities. Programs include respite and family support initiatives that 1) encourage interaction and integration with the larger community and 2) offer occassional relief for both the caregiver and the consumer
