Organization: Latin American Health Institute is a community-based public health organization, annually serving over 30,000 Latin American families and individuals through more than 60 direct care programs, and an additional 5,000 health care professionals, para-professionals, and institutions through education, technical assistance, fiscal sponsorship, program oversight, and consulting. LHI Solidaridad program is an enhanced case management program that serves Latino families with individuals with disabilities. All staff members are bilingual. Solidaridad offers translation-and interpretation services for any family member. LHI’s office is located in Boston with regional offices located in Brockton and Lowell.

Proyecto Conexion is a culturally sensitive program for Latinos 18 plus who are survivors of a brain injury (BI) or traumatic brain injury (TBI). The goal of the program is to help participants gain confidence, motivation and socialization skills through participation in recreational activities. All staff members are bilingual (English/Spanish).
Eligibility: Latinos, 18 and up, suffered from Brain Injury (BI) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). No medical diagnosis needed for program enrollment.
