Organization: Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts , an affiliate of the national Brain Injury Association of America, is a private, nonprofit association founded in 1982 by concerned families of survivors of traumatic brain injury. BIAMA is a volunteer organizatin whose efforts include appropriate rehabilitation and survivors of brain injury, developing support systems, encouraging appropriate rehabilitation and services for survivors of brain injury, and disseminating information about consequences of brain injury.

Population(s) Served: Persons with acquired brain trauma resulting from injury externally caused from falls, car crashes, assault, etc.. Also serves injuries due to stroke, aneurysm, anoxia and other conditions which effect cognitive functions.

Fees: Individual membership $35.00 Survivor entry level (for those in financial need) $5.00 Professional $50.00 Family (includes four memberships) $50. 00 Membership is not denied to any survivor of head injury or family member for inability to pay
