The Center’s mission is to promote and conduct applied research, evaluation, and education aimed at informing policy decisions that improve the health and wellbeing of people served by public agencies.

Center for Health and Policy Research has extensive expertise in conducting applied health policy research, evaluation and education.  As part of the University of Massachusetts Medical School’s Commonwealth Medicine division, CHPR works closely with state and federal policy makers to improve the evidence-base for effective policy decision making.
