Joanne has worked in the field supporting individuals with disabilities and their families for over 35 years.  She has been an independent Educational/Behavioral consultant since 1996.  Her work has focused primarily with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  She has assisted school systems as well as private family support programs in designing and developing programs to support students to be fully included members.  She is creative in her approach to assisting individuals to achieve their full potential through education and instruction of the individuals and their support providers.  In the past fifteen years, her focus has been more directed on accessing and developing programs, policies and procedures for social services, vocational, and educational programs to better support and educate persons with disabilities.  Joanne has extensive experience in assisting children and young adults to become full members of their school and community. She supports individuals to obtain their goals using a variety of processes and practical techniques based on a person-centered approach. Joanne is a passionate advocate for the inclusion and participation of all individuals.

She is an active board member with the Ludlow Commission on Disabilities and continues to maintain her relationship as both a presenter as well as a participant in educating others with and about ASD.   Joanne also assists businesses and organizations with strategic planning.
