Narrative

I offer special education advocacy services to families of children with special education needs. Over 30 years of experience. In 1990  I completed training through The Federation for Children with Special Needs and became a volunteer Parent Consultant and Trainer.  I trained parents on behalf of the Federation for more than 25 years.  Additionally, I have my MBA with focused work in negotiations, communications,  and strategic planning.  Services include consultation, TEAM meetings, mediation, program placement, and training. I help families identify the things that get in the way of their child's ability to learn and then negotiate with school systems on behalf of the family to ensure the services necessary are put in place and effectively delivered so their child can be the best that they can be.  It's not the disability that is the problem, it's addressing the needs that arise and interfere with a person's ability to be effectively educated due to a disability that is the focus of all of my work.  I work with any kind of problem that impeeds a student's path to success
