Anorexia Nervosa is an eating disorder identified by a preoccupation for thinness, sought through self-starvation, to the point where one’s health is put in danger. The individual has an intense fear of gaining weight, a distorted body image and weighs less than the 85% of expected normal weight.
All CEDC outpatient programs – including our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) – are now being offered in-person and online, so that patients can receive treatment for their eating disorder in the comfort and safety of their own home.
