Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), is a psychiatric disorder than can occur following the experience or witnessing of an emotionally traumatic experience or life-threatening event. Sufferers of PTSD often relive the experience through nightmares and flashbacks, have difficulty sleeping and results in significantly impairing the person’s daily life.
