Narrative

Friends For Tomorrow (FFT) is a therapeutic horseback riding program for children and young adults that is committed to ensuring the highest quality of life to mentally, physically, emotionally and/or socially challenged children. For the past 17 years FFT has touched the lives of these youth and helped them to achieve physical and emotional benefits which in turn enable them to effectively deal with life challenges. Through the successful implementation of our methodology, we have helped many children reclaim a measure of hope, empowerment and individual dignity.

Our lessons run Monday through Thursday, 2:30- 6pm.  We hold lessons year round in our indoor and outdoor rings.  On Friday afternoons, we run Pony Partners, our newest facet of FFT. Pony Partners is an experiential empowerment group for 8-10 year old girls.  It is appropriate for able-bodied girls who have a love of animals and are struggling socially, personally, and/or academically.
