Narrative

A social organization for adults who are living with their families, alone, or in community residential programs. Goal is to provide an outlet for social interaction in a Jewish atmosphere for its members. Monthly meetings have included movies, barbecues, an outdoor concert, and religious celebrations. $18 annual membership fee.

Now in its 24th year, the Club offers social opportunities to Jewish adults with developmental disabilities. Meetings are facilitated by a social worker and are held at least once a month. Activities include social, cultural, and religious programming with strong Jewish content. Highlights range from celebrating holidays at local synagogues to dinner and movie nights as well as family picnics.
