Narrative

I offer couples therapy; marital and premarital. I am passionate about helping my clients deal with various changes whether it is loss of relationship or job or entering into a new personal or professional situation. I also enjoy doing marital and premarital couples counseling, helping couples learn how to communicate more effectively and be kinder to each other. I also strive to help my clients in making meaning from adversity, feeling better about themselves and being better in relationships. Those who grow more quickly also enjoy learning and are open to honest but caring feedback.I take a customized approach with each client I work with. I enjoy helping those dealing with changes such as moving, starting or leaving a job and or starting or leaving a significant relationship. My approach includes using both Relational Life Therapy  and coaching techniques, depending on the clients and their challenges and goals. I also work with adult professionals, teaching them how to improve relationships, improve self esteem and overcome addictive behaviors. In addition,  I work with loved ones of those with addictions, teaching loved ones how to set healthy boundaries.
