Narrative

Consultants from Public School Partnerships at the Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) provide support to public schools for students with hearing loss and cochlear implants, to access the curriculum within an inclusionary setting. Our consultants, which include educational audiologists, teachers of the deaf and speech-language pathologists, have experience with deaf and hard of hearing students who use spoken language and who use sign language. Public School Partnerships provides expertise to school districts for students with hearing loss and secondary issues, such as autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities and behavior disorders and can utilize TLC staff with other specializations. Public School Partnerships contract with school districts.
