Organization Narrative

Safe Passage is the agency in Hampshire County addressing the impact and prevention of domestic violence and relationship abuse. All services are 100% free and confidential. We provide survivors with support and information to keep themselves, and their children, safe.

Safe Passage believes in the need to provide specialized services and programs to meet the unique needs of marginalized populations and communities. All our services are accessible to people with disabilities.

Services

Community Program: provides crisis intervention, support, and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence and their families. Services include a hotline, counseling and advocacy, support groups, legal services, and children’s services. 

Housing and Economic Empowerment: provides help accessing and navigating housing options, guidance for housing and benefit applications, and transportation assistance.

Disability Services Program:  provides outreach and services to survivors with disabilities who are/have been in relationships with abuse.  Also provides services to people who have children with disabilities who are survivors of domestic violence, including peer support, support groups, advocacy in housing, employment, health and with other human service agencies.

Community Engagement: Volunteer Opportunities, Outreach including community training and professional development, and Say Something Prevention Program.

Eligibility/Criteria/Enrollment

All services are confidential and available for any survivor of domestic violence, regardless of gender, sexuality, and immigration status.
