Organization Narrative

Southeast Center for Independent Living (SCIL)is a community based, consumer controlled, cross-disability independent living center. SCIL was first incorporated in 1986 to service the need for independent living services, advocacy, and public awareness for all people who have disabilities in the southeast region of the state. Consumers who actively participate in our services aspire to higher levels of independence through consciousness raising and peer role modeling.
