Narrative

Lauren has always found language and communication fascinating. She chose to become a speech-language pathologist because she wanted to help people improve their ability to effectively communicate as well as increase their overall quality of life.

Lauren believes taking a patient-centered approach to care leads to the most powerful and beneficial outcomes. “I believe when patients are engaged, motivated and receive validation, that’s when real progress and growth can occur,” she explains. At Reliant, Lauren enjoys working with both children and adults. “I particularly enjoy assessing and treating speech-sound disorders and adult language disorders.”

In her role as a speech-language pathologist, Lauren loves the opportunity to work with and help diverse populations in a variety of settings. “No two patients are the same, so there is always an opportunity to learn something new and grow your skills.”

In her free time Lauren enjoys traveling, reading, seeing live music, and doing DIY projects, plus spending time with family and friends.
