Narrative

Kim is an ASHA certified, Massachusetts licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who has been practicing since 1998.  She is also a member of the Massachusetts Speech-Language Hearing Association (MSHA).  Kim is the Owner of Core Communication Center and has provided therapy in a variety of clinical settings including Early Intervention, Hospitals and Rehabilitation settings, with experience assessing and treating a variety of speech language disorders in infants through adults.

Kim has received her Certification as an Early Intervention Specialist (CEIS) and has been awarded multiple ACE continuing education awards by ASHA.  The ACE is a formal recognition of professionals who have demonstrated their commitment to lifelong learning by earning 7.0 ASHA continuing education units (CEUs) (equivalent to 70 contact hours) within a 36-month period. Kim is PROMPT trained, PECS Level I trained, LSVT-LOUD certified and has also attended trainings to study the Michelle Garcia Winner Social Thinking program.  Kim has also been recognized for advanced training and clinical expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) by Apraxia Kids; formerly called Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA)
