Rachel grew up in Frederick, Maryland, and is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and Boston University. She did her clinical fellowship at South Shore Hospital as an inpatient clinician working in the Special Care Nursery (level II NICU) with neonates, as well as with acute swallowing disorders in the adult population.
