Narrative

24-Hour Supports/Group Home Services

Almadan provides 24 hour supports to individuals with various support needs in community residences. Our homes focus on promoting independence and dignity, and human rights of individuals receiving supports in a positive and safe environment.

Almadan is proud to have dedicated and knowledgeable staff members who have been part of the lives of many individuals providing in home supports for more than 25 years.. All homes are individually structured to meet the needs of the individuals residing in them and accommodate personal choice and community membership.

Homes funded through the Department of Mental Health focus on a treatment based, community integration model. Almadan works with the individuals being served to become or continue to be active members of their community while working on strategies to manage their mental health symptoms. Our programs are tailored to cater to the individual needs of the people we serve. This includes but is not limited to individuals living with dual diagnosis and physical limitations.

Almadan also offers an Intensive Supports option for individuals struggling with sexually problematic behaviors or other acute behaviors. Almadan consults with specialized clinicians who work one on one with the individual receiving services while specially trained staff utilize daily teaching moments to support the individuals in building social and vocational skills.
