To provide opportunities in areas that can empower individuals to become self-reliant and make better decisions for themselves, their families, and their communities. Provides computer training, information/referral, senior center, fuel assistance program, summer-works youth program. Adjustable computer workstation table available. number of computer workstations: 11. Center staff has been trained in disability awareness.

In addition, the Parker Hill/Fenway NSC offers the following services, unique to this location:

Child Injury Prevention Training: instruction for parents on how to childproof their homes and prevent accidents.   As part of the training, parents receive additional free childproofing materials, such as outlet covers, supplied by the Boston Public Health Commission.

Senior Center:  drop-in center offering recreation, social, educational, artistic, health related activities for the elderly, including day trips.

Job Readiness Workshops for Teens: workshops open to both SummerWorks and non-SummerWorks youth. Topics include Job Readiness, Financial Literacy, Higher Education, Health and Wellness, and Conflict Resolution and Violence Prevention.

Summer Jobs at Local Institutions: Summer jobs for youth at local institutions, including hospitals and other local organizations.
