Narrative

Adoption Journeys is a statewide post adoption support service of Child and Family Services that is funded by the Department of Children and Families. Since October of 1997, Journeys has provided a home-based and family centered program for families who have a legalized adoption and/or a permanent legal guardianship sponsored by the Department of Children and Families. Regional offices are located in Fall River, Needham,Worcester, Lawrence and Florence. The program offers:

• Information & Referral
• Regional Response Teams (home-based counseling)
• Support Groups
• Advocacy & Coordination
• Respite/Family Support & Social Activities 
• Adoption Competency Training for mental health professionals
