Narrative

NSCC’s Adult Learning Center (ALC) offers free college and career readiness classes in literacy, math, and High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) or GED prep.  We help students without a high school credential pursue further education, job training, and well-paid careers. Anyone who has not completed high school, is at least 16 years old, and is not currently in school can enroll. Professional instructors, assisted by experienced volunteers, teach small-sized classes. You can progress at your own pace. You can work with an individual advisor to begin planning for future goals.
