Narrative
24/7 Residential Support
Delta Projects provides 24-hour residential supports to adults with intellectual disabilities (ID) and other developmental disabilities. Residential models are individualized to address the needs of each person. This allows a person with ID the chance to live in a residential setting. People can receive the intensive services necessary for successful long-term stability. Most of the people supported by Delta Projects live in homes with two to four housemates.
In-Home Supports
Our In-Home Supports program is for people living in their own homes who need less than 24/7 supports. It is based on life planning strategies and coaching. Many of the people we support have not had opportunities in their past to participate in a learning process around independent living. Community Support Staff work with people to develop their plan by assessing needs, determining areas on which to focus, developing instruction strategies and generalizing the skills acquired.
Community Support Staff work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the person. Staff works with them to develop:
- competence in household management
