Narrative

South Shore Elder Services (SSES) is the Aging Services Access Point and the Area Agency on Aging for eleven communities on the South Shore. SSES provides numerous services to elders 60 years and over and those caring for elders.  Now as part of our "No Wrong Door" expanded services, we now provide Information and Referral to those 21 years of age and older.  Anyone is free to call our Information and Referral Department where callers can get questions answered by well trained staff members. Anyone may also request an in-home assessment of an elder's needs, or make an anonymous report of any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation of an elder 60 years and older. Please feel free to call with any questions or concerns. SSES offers home delivered meals in service area. Meals are available to anyone age 60 or older and to disabled persons under 60 living in senior housing buildings that host a meal site.
