Narrative

Minuteman Senior Services is an area Agency on Aging (AAA) and an Aging Service Access Point (ASAP).

Our mission is to help older adults and people with disabilities live in the setting of their choice by engaging community resources and supporting caregivers.

For over 45 years Minuteman Senior Services has been helping older adults and adults with disabilities to live with independence and dignity in the setting of their choice which is most often their own homes and communities. We have been supporting caregivers, local and long distance, who want to do the right thing for their loved ones and need help and advice as they balance the competing demands of family, work and self.

As you will see on our website we offer over 20 programs and services and are continually improving and expanding to serve you and your family in new and better ways. We provide some free programs such as SHINE, Nursing Home Ombudsman, and Family Caregiver Program. Other programs are on a sliding scale depending on elders income such as State Home Care Program which offers in home services to older adults in need.  Our private Care Management services, By Your Side, helps older adults, adults with disabilities and their families understand their options and arrange for services.

As a non-profit organization we are passionate about our mission to help you face the challenges of aging and caregiving by helping you make informed decisions and get easy access to the help you need that fits within your means. Many of our services are free of charge, others are available on a sliding fee or private pay basis.
