Narrative

Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) is New England's leading legal rights organization dedicated to ending discrimination based on sexual orientation, HIV status, and gender identity and expression. GLAD's  AIDS Law Project was founded in 1984 to protect the rights of all people with HIV. If you have questions about HIV or gender identity and the law or believe that your legal rights have been violated, we want to hear from you. Call our toll-free legal information hotline (1-800-455-GLAD) Monday through Friday from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. We offer legal information and consultation, an extensive network of referrals to legal services and attorneys who are sensitive to the needs of HIV-positive individuals, and a host of publications about HIV and the law.
