Narrative
The Amputee Coalition serves people who have been affected by limb loss, whether a limb difference before birth or a limb loss due to disease or trauma. The organization empowers people to achieve their full potential through education, support and advocacy. Programs include peer visitation and peer visitor training, the National Limb Loss Resource Center offering print and digital resources through email, web or phone interactions. Offers a summer camp program for youth ages 10-19, a free magazine called inMotion, a national conference, a webinar series, advocacy, training, and support group and activity calendars.
