Narrative

At APEX, we offer extensive Applied Behavior Analysis programming and customizable consultation and assessment for your specific needs. Additionally, we provide a variety of related autism treatment services. Whatever your needs, we will work with you to tailor these services to specifically meet the needs of your child, family, organization or program.

Using ABA therapy, we teach clients diagnosed with autism, or related disorders and learning disabilities such as Asperger’s, or pervasive development disorder, to successfully learn important skill sets that will enrich their lives, in a scientific and measurable way.

Following methods such as Discrete Trial Instruction (DTT) or Natural Environment Training (NET) we can teach skills that include, but are not limited to:

  • Behavior
  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Sensory Desensitization
  • Language/Communication
  • Academics
  • Social Skills
  • Functional skills
  • Play skills
  • Coordination with other programs and agencies
  • Vocational Skills
  • Community skills

Depending on a number of factors, instruction can take place at home, school, job site, or a combination of these locations.

Consultation and Assessment

Individual or program-wide consultation and assessment services are also available and include both short-term and ongoing programs, as well as academic and behavioral assessments.
