Narrative

Assistive Technology (AT) is any device or service that increases or improves the functional capabilities of people with disabilities. UCP of Western MA offers a wide variety of assistive technology, AT evaluations, durable medical equipment and Radio Reading to support children and adults with disabilities. Our AT services are available to all the people we serve, in each of our programs.

UCP’s AT Regional Center provides people from Western MA with all types of disabilities with assistive technology loans (FREE), demonstrations, training, workshops and funding sources.

UCP’s Re-Equipment Program is a collaborative durable medical equipment (DME) reuse program that offers FREE refurbished equipment and AT tools to adults, children and seniors without the hassle of paperwork, delays or insurance.
