Narrative

The Department of Development provides assistance to purchase handicapped adaptable homes developed through the agency in the city of Boston. Provides homebuyer education, home sales through a lottery process and financial assistance. The Department of Neighborhood Development, Homebuyer Services Unit provides homebuyer and financial literacy courses, financial assistance to 1st time homebuyers and an opportunity to participate in an affordable housing lottery for new and resale properties in the City of Boston. Some of the units offered through the first Home Program are handicap adaptable units.
