Narrative

The Family Stabilization Team (FST)clinicians provide innovative, home based post-acute follow-up service designed to integrate youth and stabilize the family. The service also can be used to prevent the need to enter higher levels of care or help the families through periods of transition including loss and grief, divorce or relocation. An eligible child must be in need of greater in-home support than what can be done through typical outpatient therapy . Priority are children at risk of possible out-of-home placement (i.e. hospital, foster placement, residential). The services may be covered upon approval for clients of MassHealth or selected private insurance companies based on a single case agreement.
