Narrative

Building Blocks is a program of the North Shore Arc. We provide intensive home and community based interventions to children with a diagnosis on the autism spectrum. We serve children from birth to three years of age and their families.

Building Blocks uses and approach that is consistent with the strongly evidenced based Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). It is a model that integrates the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) with developmental, relationship based orientation, particularly the principles of Floortime. The program works together with Early Intervention Programs to provide comprehensive and supplemental services.
