Narrative

Horizons, Inc. is a nonprofit agency that offers residential, recreational, educational, employment and support services for children and adults who are developmentally disabled or have other social and emotional needs. The residential summer program, Camp Horizons, is for children and adults who have developmental disabilities. Facilities include a spacious program center with a computer/media center, fitness center, hobby center, sandy beaches, boats, outdoor heated pool, trading post, dining hall, infirmary, laundry , recreational hall with a full basketball court, stage and game room. Swimming, riding, arts & crafts, tennis and social activities are included. 5:1 Camper/staff ratio. Facilitates emotional and social growth of campers. We also have a Weekends in the Country - program fall-spring.
