Narrative

A comprehensive hospital-based, medical school affiliated clinical service for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual disability who also present with emotional/behavioral disturbance. Full range of services available, including inpatient treatment, day treatment, special educational services, and residential treatment. Home-based services and Applied Behavior Analysis services also are available. Outpatient specialty services include diagnostic evaluations, medication management, Occupational Therapy, speech, social skills training groups, life skills training groups, dialectical behavior therapy, and group psychotherapy. Services for children and adolescents with Asperger's syndrome also are available, including diagnostic evaluations, medication management, individual and group therapies, and support groups for parents of children with Asperger's.
