Narrative

Our CHAI Works day program fosters community, understanding, and personal fulfillment in people with disabilities (PwD). We can help them lead productive and integrated lives in their communities. We can increase their feelings of self-worth and confidence.

Day Programming and Employment Services create meaningful and fulfilling choices for people with disabilities to lead productive and integrated lives in their communities and increase their feelings of self-worth and confidence.

We do this through:

  • employment (jobs)
  • volunteering
  • health and wellness education and activities
  • recreation
  • social enrichment
  • events
  • community experiences

We believe personal identity is enhanced through one’s achievements. We work hard to empower people through education and skill-building experiences.

JF&CS offers three different types of Day Programming and Employment Services. Some members split their time between multiple programs.

Payment for participation in the CHAI Works day program is available through a DDS contract, as well as private pay.
