Narrative
Massachusetts Department of Public Health Certified early intervention program. Early Intervention is an integrated Developmental service available to the families of children between birth and three years of age. These children have developmental concerns due to identified disabilities. Their typical development is at risk due to certain birth or environmental factors. Serves children with autism. Services are provided primarily in the home and in the community. (Day Care Settings Schools, etc).
Services are provided in the family home and are certified by the Department of Public Health.
This program is for:
- Parents who have concerns about their baby’s development; soothing; bonding; nursing/feeding; sleeping; sibling jealousy; or are feeling depressed, tired or isolated
- Families living in the communities of Springfield, Wilbraham, Hampden, East Longmeadow and Longmeadow
- Children birth to age 3
Services are available to all families regardless of insurance coverage.
