Mission: We seek to provide recreation and leisure experiences to people of all ages and abilities which promote independence, build life skills, maximize community inclusion and social interaction, encourage a fitness lifestyle and enhance quality of life.  The Recreation Department seeks to provide recreation and leisure experiences to people of all ages and abilities which promote independence, build life skills, maximize community inclusion and social interaction, encourage an active lifestyle and enhance quality of life.

Quality Staff: Our dedicated and experienced staff come from educational backgrounds in recreation, physical education, therapeutic recreation and special education. We are committed to communication and partnerships with families, schools and staff to provide quality, individualized services.

A Comprehensive Team: The Recreation Department is part of the Family Resource Center, offering an array of supports and services for families raising children and adults with developmental disabilities. These include recreation, information and referral, support groups, educational workshops, sibling programs, educational advocacy, transition services and intensive case management services.
