Narrative

• Moving Forward’s spacious property is in beautiful West Barnstable. The area offers plenty of access to recreational and cultural activities.

• We encourage and promote health and wellness through daily physical activity and training on topics such as nutrition, anxiety, and stress management.

• Member goals are individualized and developed to support the members to reach their full potential.

• We currently serve 21 members per day in the day program allowing the staff and leadership to really get to know our members and their specific needs. Our smaller size also allows for regular communication with parents and providers.

Must have MassHealth. Must also have a developmental or intellectual disability that is likely to continue indefinitely and results in functional limitation in three or more of the following areas: 

• self-care

• understanding the use of language

• learning

• mobility

• self-direction

• capacity for independent living
