Narrative

The Community Supports Division at LIFE is divided into two discrete components: Individual Supports and Employment Services.

Services are provided to adults, 22 and older, who are seeking to learn to live and work on their own. The goal of the Community Supports Division is to help people with developmental and learning disabilities. We help prepare people for, obtain, and maintain their highest level of competitive employment. They can learn to live as independently as possible in the community of their choice.

LIFE has Supported Independent Living communities in Hyannis, Mashpee and Plymouth. We have group homes in Yarmouth, Centerville, Mashpee and E. Falmouth.  Each SIL community has Employment staff on site.

Program models include Individual Supports, Community Based Day Supports, and Individual Supported Employment.  CBDS offices are located at 24 Route 6A, Sandwich Ma, 02563.
