Narrative

Sociedad Latina is a community-based, non-profit organization providing a broad array of programs designed to empower Latino youth and their families.

Our mission is to enhance the overall well being of the Latino community by delivering programs that encourage community leadership through educational attainment, cultural identity, and continuation of traditions.

Sociedad Latina fulfills its critical mission by combining direct service and advocacy with information/referral assistance providing a human service resource center for Boston's Latino youth, particularly those of Mission Hill/Roxbury.

Our programming includes: 

Education - STEAM Team, Mission Possible, Latine College & Career Access (LaCCA)

Arts & Culture - Youth Artists Mastery, Community Classes, Viva La Cultura!

Workforce Development - Internships

Civic Engagement - Youth Community Organizing, Health Educators en Acción, Environmental and Food Justice
