Narrative

Highland Lake Trail:  This easy Universal Access Trail is a packed gravel path that winds along the shores of Upper Highland Lake, between the lake's two canoe/boat launches.

State forest with active day use area with mobility impaired picnic tables with accessible rest room facilities. Also, has a 51 site campground with 2 accessible sites and accessible rest rooms. Accessible kayaking programs held on Monday and Wednesdays throughout the summer.  For information call  545-5758 (413) Universal Access Program.  Winter sit ski program for disabled by reservation. Accessible nature trail around lake. Accessible beach with chairs & kayaking program by reservations.
