Narrative

Shore's day habilitation services are unique, interesting, varied, and suitable for every person who wants to participate. A full complement of experienced professionals (nurses, occupational, physical, speech therapists and psychologists) work closely with Shore Case Managers and Direct Service Staff to recommend goals that are worthwhile and interesting to individuals.

Our adult program activities vary and are driven by personal and family input. The types of scheduled group activities may include:

• Exercise and movement
• Art/craft projects
• Cooking
• Music therapy
• Money management skills
• Social skills
• Horticultural activities
• Human Rights and Self Advocacy
• Book clubs, sports talk, and other social circles
• Positive Behavior Support activities

Members are also provided the opportunity to join in outings, excursions, and volunteer opportunities in the community.
