Narrative

HMEA’s Day Habilitation Program promotes independent living, good health and a satisfying life. The program fosters community integration, relationship building, social and communication skills, and daily living and recreational activities.

 The focus is to help people identify skill areas that are of interest to them, ensure personal well being and assist people to become more involved in community activities. These programs foster growth in community integration, relationship building, social and communication skills, activities for daily living and recreational activities. Services are offered to people 22 years of age and older with significant challenges who live within commuting distance of program locations in North Attleboro, Bellingham, Millbury, Plainville, and Sterling.  Funding agencies sometimes pays fees.
