Narrative

Our unique Day Habilitation Service creates a safe place to enhance social skills, develop new abilities and have fun.  Every day is meaningful for our Members and staff!

Transitions Centers Day Habilitation promotes community involvement. Our Members advocate for their activities. They choose those where they are active, such as doing a variety of leisure, volunteer and physical activities. TCI staff work with our Members to develop the activities that they advocate for. They work to make those activities a reality.

We are the only program on Cape Cod to provide specialized services for those members who communicate through American Sign Language (ASL).

People who take part in our Day Habilitation program must be able to work within a 1:7 staff to Member ratio. They must also enjoy community involvement, be active, socialize and have fun.
