Narrative

We offer comprehensive diagnosis, evaluation and treatment for adults, adolescents and children with physical limitations and disabilities. Working with the referring physician, we help patients reach the highest possible level of function, making it possible for children to return to school and adults to resume work and daily activities. Our psychiatrists, (physical medicine & rehabilitation physicians), are board-certified specialists in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation who work with an interdisciplinary team to restore physical function, relieve pain and minimize the psychological, social and vocational effects of disability. Our specialists have expertise in electromyography and electrodiagnosis, including the use of nerve blocks for spasticity, and the use of modalities such as heat and electrical stimulation, as well as therapeutic exercise and prosthetic and orthotic devices. We help people with injuries and diseases to improve their health and functional performance. Family-Centered Care Philosophy Multidisciplinary team model for clinical care. Family participation in developing a care plan. Family conferences held throughout treatment. Family training on short- and long-term needs is done before discharge.
