Narrative

The JF&CS Disability Resource Network (DRN) is a free information, referral, and consultation service.

The DRN works with families, professionals, and people with a wide range of disabilities.  It helping them connect with programs and services that promote the fullest participation in the community. Callers receive professional assistance in identifying resources related to:

  • education
  • vocational training
  • housing
  • finances
  • religious life
  • recreation
  • other aspects of community living

The DRN provides help in finding the various systems of support available to a person with disabilities. It offers a caring place to look at steps for transition, support, and futures planning.

The Disability Resource Network is an important centralized resource for individuals with disabilities and mental illness, their families, and community agencies.
