Narrative

The EBNHC Pediatrics Department provides well child care and a daily sick visit clinic within a large neighborhood health center. EBNHC treats patients birth through geriatric years. Counseling, violence prevention, adolescent services (teen clinic), mental health services for children, adolescents and families. a vaccine for chilren program and the  "Lets Get Moving Program", a nutritional as well as activity- based group for children whose BMI is > 95% are among the services offered. We have a comprhensive Asthma Program where our asthmatics are followed and any hospital admissions and ER visits are followed up within 24 to 48 hours of either discharge or the ER visit.
