Narrative
Will deliver books to shut-ins. Internet access available and weekly children's programs. Videos, books on tape and CDs available.
The Eastham Public Library welcomes children ages birth through 18 and their families to the Youth Services Department. Books, magazines, music, audiobooks, kits, DVDs and electronic games are available for checkout with a CLAMS library card. There is a play area well stocked with toys and puzzles for imaginative play, and ample opportunities for artwork and creative writing. A parenting collection and public use computers (not to mention books for every interest) are also on hand.
The Eastham Public Library welcomes youth ages 12-18 and their families to the Teen Room. Books and magazines (including comics and graphic novels) chosen specifically for this age group are available, as are music, DVDs and some electronic games. Teens are invited to speak with the Youth Services Librarians about volunteer opportunities. We are also always eager for suggestions for books, music or Teen programming ideas.
