Delta Projects’ Intensive Respite Program provides emergency short-term care at our respite facility for people who present significant and recurrent safety risks in their current residential setting. Some of the undesirable behaviors exhibited may include aggression, property destruction, self-injurious assault, signs of severe mental illness and other challenging behaviors that may cause harm to themselves or others. The Intensive Respite Program provides increased staff supervision, intensive clinical supports, structured routines, effective limit-setting and safety and risk management procedures to ensure the stabilization of people so they may return to an appropriate residential setting.
