Narrative

Functional Skill Programs
All individuals that attend the Greenfield Center are assessed through an individualized and person centered approach in order to determine specific life domains in that they could enhance. Leisure skills, social skills, safety skills, on-task skills, job readiness skills, activities of daily living, and other essential areas are considered during this assessment process. If determined that an individual could benefit from additional training in one of these domains, then a functional skill program will be created and implemented. Task analyses and other written programs will be used for implementation consistency. Sufficient time for these functional skill programs will be incorporated into the individuals’ daily activity schedule for maximum progression.
