Narrative

Program serves Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and Late Deafened adults and youth (age 14+) and provides services to seniors. Provides assistance and evaluation of assistive technology needs, assistance applying to various programs to obtain needed assistive technology. Short term loan of various equipment is possible. Equipment examples are: Doorbell signalers/lights, telephone signalers/lights, videophone, TTY/amplified telephones, hearing aids, baby cry signalers/lights, assistive listening equipment, fire alarms(visual), carbon monoxide(visual), etc. DEAF, Inc., is a nonprofit consumer group. Is not vendor of technology.
